The IFARM TEAM

David Gale, President

David has been involved in Business Development for more than 15 years, and has held leadership positions since 1998. His background is primarily in the information technology industry. As a key player in several IT organizations David was responsible for the successful transition of technology and concepts from the R&D stage into commercial applications. He has been involved with Applications Development, ERP, Supply Chain Management, CRM, Strategic Outsourcing and eBusiness.

In 2000, David chose to transition his career out of the information technology sector into aquaculture. While working as a consultant for various private and public organizations, he spent several years thoroughly researching the aquaculture industry: the history of aquaculture, current best practices, challenges facing the industry, how the global aquaculture market operates, current trends and what changes are taking shape. During that time, David assembled a team, developed industry relationships and began building the best possible integrated aquaculture model that would balance return on investment, protection of the environment and provide social and community benefit. In 2003, David formed IFARM Inc. and, with the help of the entire IFARM Team, launched the IFARM Sustainable Aquaculture System™ business model.
